Elizabeth Moser is a first-year doctoral candidate at George Washington University. She earned an MA in English Literature at Rutgers University and a BA at Boston University in English Literature with a minor in Japanese.
Her research interests include Twentieth-Century Literature, Asian-American Literature, Poetry and Trauma Studies. She has taught and assisted with courses on Japanese American Haiku, Asian America and Latino Literature and American Realism.
Her current projects include research on the transmission of trauma from first to second generation Asian Americans as well as the value of teaching haiku in urban education.
