Border Crossings: 2016 GWU EGSA Graduate Student Symposium
As Vice President of Academic Enrichment of GWU’s English Graduate Association, I organized and chaired our 2016 graduate student symposium. The symposium featured student presenters from GWU’s English and American Studies departments, as well as Georgetown, Gonzaga, and Rutgers-Newark. Our keynote speaker was Mimi Thi Nguyen, Associate Professor of Gender and Womens Studies and Asian American Studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
